Aloha, friends and Patrons!
As Day 100 of #100DaysUke2024 approaches (tomorrow in the US!!), we are planing several celebrations for participants. Check out this post for info on our Day 100 Live Zoom Social or to find out how to order this year's shirt and other merch, then read on for a message from our Project Admin Jenny about this year's project showcase and celebration.
Video Participants: Submit a clip for our upcoming Video Showcase
Hi, all! It's exciting to be this close to Day 100, and I'm definitely ready to congratulate us all for reaching that milestone! Historically, we've celebrated the end of each year's project in different ways. This year, as in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023 we'd like to compile a Showcase Video featuring active participants, to premiere at a later date.
Because we wish to feature as many 100 Day-ers as possible, we are asking those interested in being in the video to submit a video from this year's project with a total length of ONE MINUTE or less. If you participated last year, this may sound familiar, as it's also what we did at the end of that year's project.
You don't need to have posted 100 times to submit a clip, but depending on the number of responses received, we may give priority to the folks who got closest. You'll also have the option of sharing a quote about what 100 Days of Ukulele means to you.
Thank you in advance to volunteer editor and 100 Days participant, Owen Emry for helping us put the showcase together! Owen did a smashing job in 2023. Check that video out here.
