{Patron-only post}
Aloha Patrons!

If you're new to Patreon, please see instructions below for voting. (also, if you're new, join our secret facebook group! email patronhelp@cynthialin.com with your facebook email address and we'll add you - and see Community Notes at the bottom of this post for more ways to connect)
How the Song of the Month works
If you're new, here's the TL;DR version of what happens with the Song of the Month:
1. All Patrons vote! (in this post! see the song options below!)
2. I create a Chord Chart ($3+ Patrons) and teach a Live Lesson ($5+ Patrons) for the winning song
3. I produce a Play-Along video (check out the Let It Be Play-Along) and release it on YouTube
4. Upon YouTube release, chord chart is made available to the public via Gumroad, and all Patrons receive access to the recorded hour-long Live Lesson
Recent Play-Alongs:
THANK YOU PATRONS! You are directly supporting the creation of these higher production Play-Along videos. I'm learning and growing by working alongside a professional video and sound team - it's such a relief to let them handle the production aspects so that I can focus on more music and arrangements. I hope you are enjoying the improved visual and audio quality!
HOW TO VOTE - Voting closes Sunday 10/7 at 11:59PM Pacific Time.
1. click on the checkbox for as many of the song choices as you like below - multiple votes allowed. please note - as soon as you tick the checkbox, the vote is counted. (you can look at the ticker on the right! sometimes the ticking doesn't work on certain devices - in this case, try your laptop or desktop vs tablet or mobile)
2. in addition, you can comment below with ONE SONG that you’d want for next month's tutorial. this will help with song choices for future votes. you can upvote other people’s song choices by clicking the heart on their comment. upvotes are an easy way to double your voting power! only your first comment will count, so please just one song suggestion per person.
About this month's vote - all new song choices from Patron suggestions
I have a specific Cynthia's Choice song this month - as it's Halloween month, I'd like to teach my original song Zombie Heart (click to watch me and my band dancing as zombies in our Zombie Prom music video!). A number of Patrons have requested a tutorial for this song, and I thank you for supporting my original music. No pressure - I'm attaching the chord chart so you can check it out. :)
The remaining voting choices are all taken from last month's vote comments - I chose songs from your suggestions that will make for good tutorials/videos. I take into account whether a song can be arranged well for a variety of levels, what it will sound like on the ukulele, and ultimately, I need to be able to connect to the song in order to deliver it well. I will keep mixing up the songs month to month, to reflect the wide range of tastes amongst our community. Thank you in advance for keeping an open mind about learning new songs. :)
PS I'm also interested in getting a head start on the holidays. So I'd love to hear your holiday song suggestions!
Your upvotes matter, so I encourage you to come back and look through your fellow Patrons' comments to upvote.
Thank you, and happy voting!
xo cynthia.
