Aloha Patrons!

Welcome to our monthly vote!

First, a heads up that I will be teaching Joni Mitchell's River as a full lesson for this month's Intermediate Live Jam. (Watch my version of River)  Instead of putting it on this month's vote, I decided to go ahead and teach it because 1. there has been a LOT of demand :) and 2. it's all fingerpicking and more suitable for intermediate level teaching.  So if you're interested in learning River, upgrade to the $20 level and join me live for the Intermediate Jam on 11/29.  You can also watch the recording afterwards, and you can edit your reward level back at the end of the month.

If you're new to Patreon, please see instructions below for voting. (also, if you're new, join our secret facebook group!  email patronhelp@cynthialin.com with your facebook email address and we'll add you - and see Community Notes at the bottom of this post for more ways to connect)

How the Song of the Month works

If you're new, here's the TL;DR version of what happens with the Song of the Month:

1. All Patrons vote!  (in this post!  see the song options below!)

2. I create a Chord Chart ($3+ Patrons) and teach a Live Lesson ($5+ Patrons) for the winning song

3. I produce a Play-Along video (check out the ) and release it on YouTube

4. Upon YouTube release, chord chart is made available to the public via Gumroad, and all Patrons receive access to the recorded hour-long Live Lesson

Recent Play-Alongs:

THANK YOU PATRONS!  You are directly supporting the creation of these higher production Play-Along videos.  I'm learning and growing by working alongside a professional video and sound team - it's such a relief to let them handle the production aspects so that I can focus on more music and arrangements.  I hope you are enjoying the improved visual and audio quality!

HOW TO VOTE -  Voting closes Monday 11/12 at 11:59PM Pacific Time

1. click on the checkbox for as many of the song choices as you like below - multiple votes allowed. please note - as soon as you tick the checkbox, the vote is counted. (you can look at the ticker on the right!  sometimes the ticking doesn't work on certain devices - in this case, try your laptop or desktop vs tablet or mobile)

2. in addition, you can comment below with ONE SONG that you’d want for next month's tutorial. this will help with song choices for future votes. you can upvote other people’s song choices by clicking the heart on their comment.  upvotes are an easy way to double your voting power!  only your first comment will count, so please just one song suggestion per person.

About this month's vote - runners-up from this year's votes

This month's vote options are the songs that got the most votes through the year but never made the final cut.  I think this is a pretty solid selection. If you don't see songs you like, please comment with the song you want to learn.

Your upvotes matter, so I encourage you to come back and look through your fellow Patrons' comments to upvote.

(ps I also decided that holiday songs wouldn't make sense this month, since the play-along would be released after the season - but I will make a holiday tutorial separately than this vote)

Thank you, and happy voting!

xo cynthia.
