Aloha, Patrons!

This month, I am excited to teach my original song Aquamarine in our Patreon Vocal Workshop ($30+ tier) that meets live on Tuesdays (and is always archived for watching later).

I'd like to invite all Patrons to watch our first lesson on Aquamarine, which is less about singing and more about articulation in speaking.  This is the first step of learning any song, and makes singing lyrics much easier when you've practiced pronouncing the words with clarity.

I believe this is a Voice Lesson that can benefit any one, all levels, because it can improve your day-to-day speaking and awareness of your voice.

Build confidence in your Voice. I'd love for more folks to join us in working on Vocal Performance.  The Voice is a complicated instrument, and requires time and dedication to master.  Yet the Voice is something we all use everyday, and most people have not put much energy or thought into how to use it better.  My 100-Dayers know that confidence comes from practice.  Spend some time getting to know your voice.

We'll use Aquamarine to train the voice on the basics of intonation, pitch, vowel formation, articulation, and breathing, and we'll build up to performance-related concepts like emotional connection, dynamics, rhythm and phrasing.  These techniques can be applied to any song you're learning.  Ultimately, I hope these lessons give you insight into your own voice and encourage you to pay more attention to it.
