PATREON UPDATES || Important! (Patreon)

Hello there! I hope all of you are doing great. I don't wanna get too longwinded so I'll go straight to the point lol

As you may or may not know, starting this 2021 I decided to update my commission prices. The reason is that I'm getting way too demanded for commission slots, to the point where I can't possibly take them all. I don't know if I can take half of them, to be honest. So, going by the very basic laws of supply and demand, it only makes sense for me to increase my commission prices a bit.

Not only that, but I've kept these prices since 2018, and I personally feel that I've improved a lot as an artist since then. And I think most of you would agree that, if you compare my prices to most artists out there, I'm still leaning to the cheaper side of the spectrum.

This is to say that, starting February, I will be changing some of the Patron Tiers to reflect these changes. The changes will be as follows:

$10 Tier (V.I.P.): It will be changed for a $15 pledge, and it will reward Patrons with a monthly request of up to two characters in flat colors.
$20 Tier (The Stripper Club): This tier will be deleted. The reason is that charging $20 for a comic book page with different panels and multiple characters is honestly insanely cheap. It's many hours of work that aren't properly compensated. I will be taking comic pages as regular commissions outside of Patreon and the prices will depend on the number of panels. Still working on figuring out the best price per panel.
New $20 Tier: A new tier will be created for $20 that rewards Patrons with a monthly request of up to two characters with either flat colors and background or flat colors and shading.
New $25 Tier: A new tier will be created for $25 that rewards Patrons with a monthly request of up to two characters with shading.

As I mentioned before, the changes will start in February. That means that every one that is currently pledging will get their January reward next month as usual, with no penalty whatsoever. The new tiers will be added on February 1st. Stripper club's tier will be removed that same day as well to avoid people being charged for a tier that won't be there any longer. And V.I.P.'s tier will be changed on February 5th to give you guys a couple of days to think if you want to keep the reward or if the increase is too much.

Why pledge like this instead of just commissioning you on Twitter?

Good question. The first answer is that commissioning me through Patreon grants you access to exclusive content, early access, and sketches, all of which I'll begin taking more seriously and post more of in the upcoming weeks.

The second, and most important reason, is that I will give Patreon pledges priority over opening commission slots on Twitter. During the school year, for example (March through November in Argentina), I probably won't be opening commissions in most months, but I will take time to do the Patreon rewards. So pledging here is honestly the best way to make sure you get your monthly picture.

With that being said, I've noticed that many Patrons don't claim their rewards until the last week of the month, or even wait for later months to claim more than one reward at a time. Starting with February's rewards, any reward that's not claimed before the end of the month will expire. I don't want to be mean, but I have a tight schedule and I need to organize my weeks and my month, and suddenly getting unexpected commissions to do before the end of the month with short notice gets me anxious and stressed lol So please, if you can, try to send me a message with what you want for your reward during the first week of the month. That would be soooo helpful to organize myself.

There's one more announcement that I want to do, but I'll do that in a new post cause it's pretty cool, and it's related to early access for a big thing that I think may or may not be interesting for most of my patrons. I'll go redact that post right now and post it a bit later today.
