So, I have received some comments from people who really like my inking style, they say it looks "Clean and sharp", Well, I'm very glad to hear that... (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

But... (   ಠ_ಠ)ノ⌐■-■

Is this something really good...?

I personally dedicate a lot of time to my inking proces, a job like this can take me 3 or 4 hours despite looking like a fairly simple project (Although, there are a handful of lines hidden under some other layers)

Even so, I know as a fact that this is a job that should be finished in 45 minutes or less.

Looking at "Live Drawings" of professional artists on YouTube has made me rethink in a lot on my techniques and process when doing line work.

Some of my worst problems that drag my work for many more hours than they should be, are my abuse of the "line tool" (I used to think that this helped to accelerate my process, but having the ability to tweak the smallest curvature in a line makes you waste a lot of time in endless corrections).

Also I tend to redraw lines multiple times until finally sticking with one, so I actually end up drawing a single line art with the effort of 4 or 5 drawings.

Correcting something as fundamental as your inking style is something really difficult, to be obsessive with the cleanliness of the lines is a bad habit difficult to overcome.

Also and this is one of the great truths that hit me really hard at the moment of noticing it.

People who become obsessed with their line work most of the times do not have a really good or strong drawing style.

(I'm not saying that this is a generality)

But yeah, in summary I think I need to concentrate more on my figures and anatomy before worrying about having the perfect inking.

Remember kids... (・∀・)ノ

For any improvement, the first step is to identify your weaknesses and work on them.

That is the only way forward...!
