Today one of my friends told me during one of our small casual talks:

He told me that due to artificial intelligences and machine learning, soon all content such as graphics and animation will be created artificially, rendering human artists obsolete.

I did not deny his argument, since I also believe that it is a quite possible scenario. Today, there are already algorithms capable of creating art indistinguishable from that of a human creator.

But I also added that..."Every society has to collapse at some point" and when that happens I will still be there... Man, the fundamental block of all and every civilization.

The world can be nuked back in to the stone age, all its memories erased, all its achievements forgotten, and I will still be there.

We artists will be singing, dancing and drawing like idiots in our dark caves while the ivory towers that touch the sky and beyond collapse towards oblivion.

Ten thousand years ago the first men fapped looking at the drawings of Neanderthal Venus's and thick woolly mammoths drawn with charcoal over crude stone walls.

Ten thousand years in the future the last men will continue to fap looking at drawings of Super Pochaco and thick furry Isabelle drawn with bone ashes over smooth monoliths.

We will be there...
