 Giving an update to old designs is really fun... ⚓😍💕

This puts all the learning and growth accumulated directly into perspective; In a way that can be easily compared and understood visually.

Artistic growth is really hard to measure, it's really subjective... 🤔?

But I think one of the best ways to measure your improvement is to redraw old pictures and compare them.

"Satisfaction" is the only measure that more or less matters here...!

If you see your old drawing and think it sucks, that's ok.

If you look at your new drawing and think that it sucks a little bit less than the previous drawing then you have managed to achieve some progress.

You have to find satisfaction in small improvements... 👍

But if you are satisfied with your old drawing and you see no difference with the new drawing then you have done everything wrong.

Satisfaction leads to complacency which leads to stagnation.

Never be satisfied, love your work but always look forward to better things...!
