I think a lot of monsters are done a disservice when you think of them in a purely tactical perspective, and come to life a bit when you put them in a living landscape. That goes doubly for wilderness hazard type monsters. Mind you, you could apply my comments about the serpentweed to half the monsters in this chapter, so my other criticism still stands.
