I did not know who Dray Prescot was. I now realise that I've seen them in second hand bookshops, but never bothered to buy one. 52 books!

As an Oregonian, the decapus reminds me of our native Pacific NW fauna. I am speak of the famous Tree Octopus. While smaller and not as dangerous (like all real life inspirations for D&D monsters) it does swing from tree to tree in our temperature rain forests.
