Really enjoyed this episode, thank you James! The idea of ancient lighthouses which repel sea monsters and create the only truly safe harbours in the game world is a stroke of genius. Sure, once you get to port, you're OK, but any voyage will require some serious preparation and some people with a very specific skill set. As you say, the race to discover a new safe harbour could be a terrific adventure hook. Ancient maps, shadowy assassins, and a voyage across monster-infested seas might be just the ticket! Thanks again for an excellent episode!

Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed it. I feel like the special anti-monster lighthouse is also a good way to get the importance of safe harbours without worrying too much about the weather, which is the biggest challenge for a nautical game.
