Jago & Litefoot is the Dr Who spinoff, from the great but also dodgy (yellow peril etc.) Talons of Weng Chiang. There's a nice series of audio adventures from Big Finish. I think I have four of them somewhere, of the 14(!).

In my friend's D&D game the halflings lived in the sewers of the big city and bred uncountrollably. Their numbers were only kept in check by the surge that came with the spring thaw.
