Dear Heroes!
I'm back! The two week holiday was lovely. I didn't go completely offline (probably should have), but I did go offline a lot and discovered that in the embodied world of the northern hemisphere, here was Spring in full bounty.
The cherry blossoms were very early, but very beautiful, and I — through luck not skill — timed it perfectly and did some driving and hiking, from farthest southwest Korea, and the dog isle of the Jindo, to the farthest northeastern reach of South Korea, beyond Sokcho at the Goseong DMZ observatory.
A dragon?
Pandarens?
Islands. Roads. Hikes.
Fall hazards. Good thing it was Spring.
And, yes, cerises. Cherries.
Indeed, it was relaxing enough that I had a very hard time getting back into a laptop and writing and drawing groove.
That's why there was no update last week!
New Stuff!
Ok, now that I've gone all about with the photos, let's see what's new.
- About a month ago, maybe a bit more, I ran one of the best heist one-shots I'd ever run. I couldn't let it go, and I decided to write it up. It's not finished yet, but, uh, it'll be about 64 pages when I'm done, I guess. To be fair, it's just A5 and a big chunk of it is also a new location for the expanded UVG map. Yep, finally, new content for that vast world! Though, honestly, I am aiming for 32-pages for a location + dungeon / heist / module / thing.
- I'm also finishing the art for the free SDM zine, the ERK. It's going a bit slow - getting back into the groove took some time and I needed to figure out how to loop the story around for the second part of the booklet, which runs in reverse. I think I've sorted that out, but now the drawing should take at least 7 more days to finish the last 14 pieces.
- UVG 2E the work is really in the final steps, preparing some patches, t-shirts, marketing materials ... I'll keep you posted. I promise, there'll be an update just for that. I hope I'll be able to figure out some kind of pre-order option for EF, but ... we'll see. In any case, those who would want the new hardcovers, don't worry. I think we printed enough.
Right! That was that. See below!
Just 40 new pages of content for you this time!
Thank you for your patience :)
Be free and well, y'all.
