Yeah that scene with obanai and sanemi was anime original. But that is not the only thing they are adding since almost all of this episode was anime original. In the manga they didn’t even show uzui’s training only like 5 panels of him telling tanjiro to move on to the next hashira. So yeah they are adding a lot.
