In case you both hadn't figured out the riddle: Four legs in the morning. Two legs in the afternoon. Three legs at night. What is the creature? (Since the episode never let the girl figure it out nor the sphinx reveal it), I can give you the answer. The answer is a human/person. When a person is (young/morning) a baby it's crawling (like it has four legs). When a person is (from toddler to adult/afternoon) in the middle of their life, they are standing up, walking on two legs. And then when a person is (elderly/ night) late in life they usually need assistance with a cane (hence, the three legs). I remembered hearing and learning about this riddle on a PBS cartoon years ago. It was either Arthur or Wordgirl. Probably, definitely Wordgirl.😊
