The boys performed only a couple of songs during their concert in Japan before it got cancelled. Yoongi actually wrote a long letter to ARMY later on, telling how difficult it was for him around that time. He really opened up about his feelings and revealed how vulnerable he was. You might be interested in reading the full letter to get a better understanding of Yoongi's minset back then. I love the storytelling of this episode, because it shows the deep bond the members have compared to many other groups, especially in the idol system where it's so hard to survive and succeed in the long run. It's one of the main reason why they're at this level now too. They've been through difficult times but still manage to overcome them by supporting and respecting each other, being grateful to their fans, looking at the big picture. And I think those hardships actually strenghtened their bond in a way since it never was really easy for them from the start, they kept this humility and authenticity to this day. I truly appreciate that because it's not easy to keep all of that at their level. Real teamwork and brotherhood.

I feel like these are gradually getting more dramatic and condensed, I'm glad that we have the deleted and bonus scenes content to fill in some gaps and balance it all out, it really is so well thought out. It's such a good series if you want to follow their journey and stories but don't have the time or ability to go through and find every piece of content and even if you have seen all the content it's still so enjoyable! I love how excited and invested you were watching the relay race lol. I've only been army for 6 months but it feels like I've always been army, it's weird! My baby army phase only really lasted for 3 months but it was intense 😅 And yes these always fly by!

Hi Max! No matter how many times one has seen this series, it is always fresh or puts a different perspective from someone else's pov. I also feel every episode is a build up to the next. One of the things I also got into at one point are the radio shows. Whether them as guests or Yoongi's Honey FM w the member as guests. I feel they are their natural selves or offer just pure entertainment. I never tire of RoB. Thank you!💜

I'll watch this a bit later but I've just thought how far this channel/community. I rewatched your first RUN BTS reaction yesterday (where Max says, Jimin could be a dancer in another life. 😂) Most of the comments on their personality and role in the group were already really spot on, especially about the hyung line.

Thanks for sharing this. It's clear how deeply sensitive Suga is. This was an incredibly sincere and honest letter.

The "BTS got banned from idol olympics" is a JOKE armys came up with because BTS stopped attending after a while, the whole reason that person gave you is MISINFORMATION AND A LIE. People were ALWAYS filming and taking photos. I do not know why that person decided to sell you lies like that. It's so frustrating

I just love TROB and watching this with you! A comment about the sub reading when English is not my first language: I actually think is harder for you and all the English speakers because the media you consume is usually in your native language, so you are not used to reading fast. but for me it wasn’t like that, I’ve been reading subtitles since I was a child so is second nature to me, I don’t even notice the subtitles tbh its like I just absorbe what they are saying 😂 And about the idol Olympics BTS weren’t banned, that rumor started a few years ago and some people take it as fact, truth is when idols get big enough the usually stop going because it’s always a shit show. the conditions are terrible(as the infrastructure is not good and there’s always injured idols) they don’t get paid, unless you have great results you get cero promotion out of it, so they have to practice on top of their already packed schedule, and if they get hurt they could miss a comeback. But if they say they won’t go they could get blacklisted by the network that hosts the idol Olympics…. So yeah when idols get big enough they usually stop going

There roommates changed up a lot, as there popularity grew their apartment expanded and eventually lost of them had their own space. Jk and Tae shared a room at one point and Jimin and Hobi shared a room until they moved out of their shared dorm. From what the guys say Namjoon was kinda messy so I’m not sure if having him as a roommate was all that wonderful hahaha

Maybe that person was misinformed themselves, I don't think we can claim for certain that someone decided to sell lies... With so much content out there and such a huge fandom, it's easy for newer (or even older fans) to get confused or to not know if some of the things they've heard are true or just myths/jokes. I think the best we can do is just clarify the matter if we have more reliable information, I don't think someone would intentionaly spread lies or misinformation 🙂

Jane Thomas

That would be an interesting reaction. Your reaction to maybe their first live or something which is their tiny desk concert I believe. I was rewatching your very first live reaction tiny desk and it’s pretty funny when you remind yourself that they are performers

I have watched the rise of bangtan until this episode so from here on I'll be watching the episodes for the first time with you, so exciting!! And like Barbi Duarte's comment above said; I'm so used to reading English subs, even if subs are available in my native language, I still choose English. It just feels weird reading Dutch subs. I have been watching and reading English stuff since I was in middle school so watching BTS content when I became a fan when I was already 20 years old didn't improve my English. I've caught up with a lot of random Korean words and phrases now though haha!

Loved this!

Don't call me.

I think its also worth noting that this rumor comes from the knowlege that txt and enhypen have also never joined the idol olympics and there is definatly a antibias against hybe groups from mbc and mbc also host isac.
