Aviary Baby News! (Patreon)

Hi everybody,

This morning when checking the nest of my Black-cheek zebra finches in my aviary, I found 2 baby birds! I did know they had 4 eggs, but didn't expected them to hatch already. As these two did though, I expect the two others to hatch today or tomorrow too.

It's a bit late in the season, but as the weather is still quite good and they will leave the nest after two weeks already, I decided to not remove the eggs when I first discovered them.

I don't have photos right now as the birds are still very tiny and the light wasn't that good.
Also I don't want to disturb them too much. But when they're a bit bigger I will try to make some photos. :)
