Future Sims4Studio Update - Pond Tags and more! (I already tested it!) (Patreon)

As I make a lot of mods that contain vfx and I also like those to be placeable on water surfaces and to be found in the Pond section in Build Mode, I reached out to Andrew once again to ask if those things could be made a bit easier.

Pond Tags (Water styles/Pond Objects/Pool Objects/Pond VFX)
Right now you'll need to go into the warehouse tab and add all Pond tags manually. Now I know how to do this, but it would be easier for others if this was made a bit less time-consuming by adding simple check-boxes in Studio's Tag tab. So I gave Andrew all info I thought he would need and now he's adding this possiblity to the next version of TheSims4Studio.

He also added checkboxes now in the Object's Catalog section that can be found in the warehouse tab, to make objects to be placeable in ponds and on pond water surfaces. Right now this is only possible by exporting the Object's Catalog of an object that already floats on pond water surfaces and importing this in your own mod. Again, very time-consuming to make that all to work and besides that, sometimes even impossible when there's no such object in a certain pack to borrow it from.

About the possibility of placing objects on pond water surfaces, I have that exact same problem with the wooden support and wall where the Cottage Living waterwheels in Henford on Bagley can be found on/in. Although Cottage Living released with the Pond-Tool, the objects placeable onto pond water surfaces that are able to spawn swans, ducks and fireflies are all base game compatible.

As Andrew already sended me a test-version of the new Studio version, I'm now able to make all objects to be able to float on pond water surfaces, no matter which pack they require to appear in your game. :)

So if you were wondering how to do this yourself, probably the next update will make this all VERY easy!
