HIII happy weekend, everyone!!!
this has been on my mind for a while and instead of constantly wondering and agonising over what the right choice is, i'll just ask you guys!!
i know it's a bit of a read, but it's really important to me so i'd really appreciate if you could read over it so i can explain exactly what i'm talking about ^^ i put so so much care into my audios and i really want to make sure you love what you hear, even down to the smallest tiniestttttt little details <3
OK SO a big part of cleaning my audio is removing "ambient" background noise (the "sound" of a quiet room, if that makes sense! you'll hear it if you record silence on your phone's voice recorder and listen back to it, it's a quiet fuzz kinda sound!) and i wonder if you guys prefer a room tone, like a slight white noise in the audio instead of complete silence?
i know the room tone can be distracting to some but i also don't want to ruin immersion with silence? sometimes the setting of the audio takes place in a house/apartment/hotel room, etc and in these environments, it's not possible to add in further ambience like i would if it took place outside, in a car, etc.
there are pauses in my audios sometimes (y'know, for immersion, so i'm not just constantly rapidfire talking.. unless u want that? i'll add that as an option just in case) so i want to know how you prefer for those to be filled, if you prefer for them to be filled!
i'm also open to constructive feedback in the comments!
thank u so so so much for helping me improve your experience!!! super grateful that ur here :D
