Green chypres & erotic thrillers?? Now you’re truly speaking to my soul! Every time I’m in Saks, I make sure to coat myself with a good dozen sprays from the Eau de Soir tester, but can never quite justify ponying up for the full bottle. This episode inspired me to move it to the very top of my Christmas list — xoxo

It's beautiful! I'm sure you know but you can get Eau du Soir way cheaper online--$120-$150. I bought a new 3.3oz on eBay for $120

Thanks! Didn’t realize it was that much cheaper online

Delightful discussion. Fatal Attraction remains a hugely watchable masterpiece thriller-there's not a dull moment- but yeah I remember it was "controversial".-like, cover of TIME magazine controversy. Adrian Lyne's other big film you couldn't recall was Flashdance, a monster hit. You mentioned he filmed in natural light, but he also loved smokepots and haze for "atmosphere", to the points actors and crews on Foxes couldn't breathe, ha.

Also, as usual, Iove the synesthesia and cultural references, impressions, of your fragrance discussions. It's really interesting and enjoyable. Ps. Another thriller I remember liking and was well done was What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer. I could've sworn it was 90s but surprised to see it was from 2000.

Great conversation to listen in on, thank you. I love Michael Douglas as an actor, my favorite of his is War of the Roses, another 90s masterpiece. I named my son Gavin after that movie because I loved the way the name sounded when Kathleen Turner yelled it out.

I love the mention of the visciously cruel scene in Cinderella -- absolutely chilled me to the bone as a child. Also - as a very young kid I watched Shag - where a hot Bridget Fonda is humiliated and degraded by other girls covering her in shaving cream. Also in Hayley Mill's Parent Trap when the girls cut out the back of Sharon's dress leaving her underpantsed bottom totally exposed. Cruel cruel cruel -- and totally terrified me as a kid.
