I was hoping you'd do a little mermaid ep!!

Sash

I hope in this ep Jack reveals which princess he is most like, me personally I’m Ariel all the way

Feenabobina

Absolutely magical episode 🥰 We’re the same age Jack- The Little Mermaid was the first movie I saw in theaters too! Loved your guest, absolutely lifted my spirits listening to you guys talk about the golden age of Disney 🥹 I will never quit you, thanks for doing the lords work 🧜‍♀️♥️👑

Definitely resist the crooked beckoning finger of doubt. Strive onwards for yourself and your audience.

Cinderella has an unmatched darkness to it the scene where the godmother fades into the darkness where only her eyes are visible is so incredible great ep

Brad Hildebrandt

Wonderful. Had me giggling every time you said “beasties”. I bought three new Loewe perfumes the day before you dropped all four of these eps. A week of excess and decadence for this TPN listener. Amazing.

Elizabeth

What RESPLENDENT descriptions and analysis. I'm floating on a cloud.

Elizabeth

oh my word, those final minutes - including the Tammy Faye song. I'm in tears.

🪄✨💖 looooove this episode. Wonderful commentary. Justice for the Disney Princesses who have been wrongly brushed off as dumb "girly" frivolity. Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite. I always found the scene of Maleficent luring hypnotized Aurora to the spindle very erotic LOL. You're so right Jack about the Sister George undercurrent in Sleeping Beauty. Coral Browne as Mercy Croft in Sister George having her way with blonde pillow princess Alice "Childie" (who initially seems half asleep) immediately struck me as a perverse Sleeping Beauty allusion when I first saw it. Also love how Aurora has three moms.

Lance Audette

It’s beautiful how your show has re-imagined and re-contextualized post-ww2 culture in it’s entirety, and how saying that isn’t even hyperbole. Wonderful show♥️

I continue to learn more via TPN than I ever did in college

This was so good. Because of this episode I was inspired to subscribe to Disney+ to rewatch Sleeping Beauty and it was absolutely gorgeous <3 thank you for an amazing and very nostalgic episode. If you do another Disney please do Alice in Wonderland!
