A note about Apple iOS in-app memberships (Patreon)

Hi all! Many of you have probably already heard that prices are increasing for memberships purchased through the Apple iOS app starting sometime in November. This is not me, but Apple's decision on how to handle Patreon fees. Please be mindful of this when making any future membership purchases. If you sign up outside of the iOS app (such as using a browser on your laptop, desktop, an android app, or whatever), the price will be the same as ever with no upcharge at all, but there will be an automatic upcharge from purchases made inside the iOS app now because of their new policies. Just wanted to make sure you're all aware of that when deciding how to sign up or renew going forward.

If it helps, a couple of months ago I switched from first-of-the-month billing to subscription-based billing, which means anyone signing up from now on is charged monthly on the same day each month as they originally subscribed, rather than being charged on the first day of each month.

Sorry for any headache this Apple stuff may cause. Hopefully this won't prove to be too big an inconvenience for anyone.
