Played around with drawing a few different art styles these last two weeks to see what techniques I could incorporate into my own.

They are all compelling in different ways... and I would be interested in your take on which of these involve increasingly more time and effort. I would also be interested in whether your workflow has been helped by some of the AI and visual processing tools that Photoshop keeps pouring into their software. Or you could also just accept my thanks for a great Patreon channel and that would be enough.

I thought Riley looked a bit different, maybe more detailed, than previous characters. Is that due to this?

Very interesting, and gorgeous in each in their own ways. Are they all based on 3D poses?

They all look quite good! My personal favorites are page 2 and 5, those two in particular are quite eye catching and alluring.

Art styles 1 & 2 seem to blend best with the current comic's aesthetic. The other styles could still be utilized for pinup art or special art posts.

I think they all look great one way or another so I don't think you can go wrong in any event you choose.

So these each all took about the same time, the way I was practicing each art style was to take a reference image and trace over it. In the case of these images, I was tracing line-art AI images, but using what I've learned to fix the AI's mistakes. I've also done this with artist's images to get a feel of how they do eyes or belly buttons, etc, but there's no point in uploading those sketches, because those are someone else's image. I also do this with photos to practice proportions and anatomy, I might upload a few of those in the future. For the main strip, my current process is: pose in Daz3D, export the image to Clip Studio, draw over it. I have experimented with running those Daz images through an AI filter if I'm unsure about the linework as a sort of 'spell check', but the AI can be quite finicky. I've played around with processing tools for the coloring process, but the output never quite looks the way I want it.
