Mermaid in heat and her tentacle (Patreon)

This is a very different original character bc she's, well, a mermaid. I wanted to draw one I'd actually find cool bc most futa mermaids I see I don't like. They're not badass enough. In approaching this I wanted her to feel more alien, more sci fi, and that includes her big tentacle. 

I wanted her hair to feel a bit more alive, so swimming underwater it would be flowing and gorgeous, but out of the water it would sort of bunch and curl up like octopus arms searching for water.

Given the bottom half of a mermaid is sea life anatomy, it didn't seem right for this gal to have typical human parts. Her tentacle anatomy has some unique facets for pleasure and function that I'll be detailing in some companion drawings. I also have her speaking an underwater language that humans wouldn't understand. Her own alphabet where simple characters convey whole ideas.

I think mermaids would be very relational in their survival but also in how they interpret things and how they speak. So their communication would feel almost telepathic and unlock a conscious bond. Kind of like a Vulcan mind meld, two minds become one, where her thoughts and ideas become yours.

So in saying all this I think she'd be my most intimate character, as I continue to explore that. Anyway, bit different, hope you all enjoy.
