THE EVOLUTION OF THE 'TUMBLR GIRL' !!

Aesthetics and fashion trends, especially those of the 2000's-2010's internet era have always really fascinated me, so I wanted to make a video covering the various different types of 'tumblr girls' that have become popular over the years! From the starbucks-weilding 'common white girls' and vintage moustache tattoo hipsters to the later 1975 black/white filter grunge and edgy pastel goth melanie-martinez stan eras. I aim to cover the general aesthetics of these styles and how they came to be, as well as what influenced them and how they influenced other things. A lot of these styles are coming back into rotation these days and seeing a 'renaissance' so I thought it would be fun to cover!! :D

The full animatic is fully finished (with just a few tiny tweaks left)- we now need to get last minute VA retakes and the audio properly sound mixed, and we're also working on fleshing out the locations in preperation for backgrounds to be fully drawn up! It's slow going but very exciting- in the meantime, here's some concept art by our talented team!!
