Red Velvet! You can't miss out on SM's girl groups. Since they have a dual concept for their music (Red=bright, more pop; Velvet=darker/more mature, more RnB) you might prefer their Velvet songs more, but honestly, their music videos are so fun to watch even if the music isn't your cup of tea. Automatic, Bad Boy (which has an English version), Psycho, One of These Nights, and Be Natural (a remake of an old SM song from their 1st Gen kpop girl group S.E.S.) are their Velvet title tracks. If you want a Velvet B-side track, Kingdom Come is a fan favorite. Ice Cream Cake (debut song after adding a member, so 5 members total), Dumb Dumb, Red Flavor, Power Up, and Happiness (debut song with only 4 members) are their Red title tracks. Sometimes their concepts get mixed and they produce songs like Zimzalabim, Peek-a-boo, and Russian Roulette which have fantastic music videos!

Everyone is recommending you Mamamoo but all their new stuff. You really need to start with their stuff like Piano Man and You’re the Best etc! They have been a very very different group compared to their other generation counterparts with their jazz and very strong vocal focus. Please watch some stuff from the beginning !!

Definitely Mamamoo.. The most authentic group after BTS, they also get a lot of hate calling them ugly and insulting them because they come from a small agency like BTS at the time. For me, they are the most beautiful female voices in kpop but also involved in the creative process and their rapper Moonbyul has her own style, she writes her own lyrics and is not in the imitation of US female rappers.
