This is kind of an impromptu recipe!
Backstory - I landed a sponsorship deal with Sprouts Farmers Market (yay!). And they wanted me to make an Instagram post highlighting some ingredients in a recipe. And as you all know, Patreon gets everything, plus lots of exclusive content, so here we are :)
It's pretty good, but if you don't like the taste of fire roasted tomatoes, be sure to use regular. These specific tomatoes have a very smokey flavor.
Also, because this was a Sprouts sponsored video, I had to use only their products. If you do not have access to Sprouts, or you want to save a little money, you can probably find suitable alternatives for most of these ingredients at other grocery stores.
Full disclosure, this was the first time I have used this Banza rice. I was skeptical because I don't care for their pasta, but I REALLY liked this rice. Although it reminded me more of an orzo, which may be why I liked it so much. It's really quick and easy to make also. So if you can get your hands on some to try, I definitely recommend it. It's got a good amount of protein and fiber in it, so it can help you hit those goals.
This sponsorship deal actually got me thinking. What do you guys think about the occasional store specific recipes? I typically use Walmart for most of my recipes, but it might be a cool idea to do some recipes only shopping at Aldi, Publix, Target, etc. My biggest concern would be higher cost than what I usually get at Walmart. But it might be helpful to those of you with limited access to grocery stores.
Or maybe instead of actual recipes, just more videos on my TikTok/Instagram of going to grocery stores to talk about different items? For example, a video going to Costco and highlighting cool Costco finds, new products, or foods that can help you hit specific goals (fiber, protein, low calorie, etc.).
Let me know your thoughts on that :)
