F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers Ep. 1 | Twitch Stream Reaction (Patreon)

We have finally started our Boys Over Flowers Journey with the most recent adaption and Thai version, F4 Thailand. We knew what we were getting into going in, but man does this first episode put us through an emotional rollercoaster right out the gate. First, we meet our female lead Gorya and get an introduction to her school and the four boys who run it as she breaks things down for the new girl and then even more for her friends in the flower shop. But when the new girl pisses off one of the four, Thyme, Gorya stands up for her and gets a target place on her back. She's the first girl ever to receive a red card from F4 but that doesn't mean the school is going to take it easy on her. Good thing she's a tough cookie with a strong back kick! Already we're loving this and can't wait for the next episode.

Thank you for this. I wanted to partecipate in the live but it was at 5 a.m. in italy and i'm a deep sleeper. There's actually a long list of adaptations and remakes, but yes the ones you said are the most famous. I actually watched all the versions and I can say that this version is the best. In the others they didn't express their emotions really well, like a couldn't tell why they were acting like that or do those things, I will not explain because I don't want to spoil, but I can tell you that i'm still confused about the meaning of some scenes. But then I watched this version and I can say the did a great job at describing the characters, what they feel and what they think. The cinematography is great. I'mma be honest I usually don't love the acting in thai dramas, it's just something I'm not used to, but in some scenes here I actually enjoyed their acting skills. So yes I'm excited for this <3 So curious to see if the lead will win you heart

I’m so excited to watch along with you guys, this adaptation is my favourite since it’s the most up to date and like with current trends/technology and honestly the bullying looks bad but I feel like not as bad as some other adaptations. This show will take you on a whole rollercoaster and I love the main cast so much and supporting actors too. Thyme needs a lot of redemption so excited for you guys to see his journey, Bright and Tu are phenomenal in this show, I’ll leave it that till next episode, don’t want to spoil anything.

Annnnddddd NOW you see why this version is my favorite. Episode one checks all the boxes. Explanation on why he is the asshat that he is. Why he is allowed to do this shit on campus. Why the others join in. All the characters motives are understandable (not necessarily agreeable!) And Gorya! That's my girl! Get him! I was worried yall were about to miss redemption kernel #1 there with him drowning the douche bags in the pool. Yay for chat. And yes, that look in his eyes at the end sets up the events for the next episode. He be shooketh.
