After being caught following Prince San to the courtesan house and nearly being killed by the Royal Preceptor, Deoki Im accompanies him to secret meeting before he takes her to get some books and in so many vulnerable words, seems to express some of his feeling for her. After that, we have the King announcing the he will name San the regent and then the coming of age ceremony for the maids where San's mother shows up and makes sure Deok Im knows her place. But before they can really dive into that drama, San is accused of visiting women at the courtsean house and the King orders him to stay in his chambers. Despite how she feels Deok Im worries for him and volunteers to stay outside his room where she reads to him until the King furiously arrives to yell and hit San. Honestly, this one was a roller coaster and left us drained but we're dying to see how the next episode will go!
