Looks like Seojun is being a better friend to Suho than Sujin is being to Jugyeong, even if the two boys do battle it out over dumplings. All that said, with all the laughs from this episode, we were not prepared for that ending! Talk about traumatized!!

Just wait until the next episode! 🙈

I’ve been waiting all day for this. Thank you! I’ll edit with my comments after I’m done 👏 😥 Soooo…this episode brought back the emotions I felt in the end when Suho heard everything. He was soooo done. Things got so chaotic with him and Jugyeong, Seojun, then to find out all these things about his dad and his friend’s song being released unknowingly. Too much. If u notice, when he bumped into Seojun as he ran, he was pale as a ghost. When the accident happened, their reaction to the oncoming car was so different. Seojun was shocked 😮 and Suho had no emotion. I think he was willing to die with all that he feeling at that point. I think it’s why his impact was so much more dramatic. That scene broke me 😭 I avoided all the teasers so I was left speechless. Ugh…so many emotions to unpack in this one. I can’t wait for you both to see the next one!!

I'm sorry, but I lost with the fart. It became 100 times funnier because of Mer glitching. 😂 But yeah, shame they had a preview for the next episode. You don't get to suffer AS much. Why am I finding joy in your suffering 😂

This drama is beautifully written. The characters are fabulous. Both Suho and Jugyeon are double blind. They see their opposite gender friends as friends. It never, ever occurs to them that their friends feelings may turn to something more than just friendship which is why both of them oblivious. Jugyeon has never purposefully led Seojun on nor indicated she had any feelings for him what so ever. Much as he is disappointed, he knows that deep down and he would rather be a good friend to her than not have her in his life at all. Suho has never really had a real friend due to his dad's work except Sujin, thus he never saw her as anything but. Sujin develops a bit of a hero complex with him in the series when she realizes he knew about her dad hitting her and he comes up with an excuse to get them out of the awkward dinner. Suho also shoved off any girl who was after him for his looks, again, because of dad's work as an actor/celebrity. Jugyeon has always been a friend to him, he realized, without knowing who he was, made him feel good when he was sad as a kid, and when they first met in school, she actually had no interest in him. She avoided him and thought he was the psycho the other two said he was. That's part of why he was so mad at her on the roof when Jugyeon thought Suho knew her bareface secret when he hadn't put that together yet. The male side character who is desperately trying to get Suho and Jugyeon together sees how badly Suho needs her sunny disposition in his grey life and he doesn't give up. Suho constantly was pushing him away but he was all "Nope! You need a friend and I am going to be whether you like it or not," and he has never asked Suho for anything. Just as we have said the mom redeems herself, Sujin does get a great explanation for her behavior. It just sucks right now. And the fun tidbit if you didn't know; Eun Woo is the big scaredy cat in Astro with Sanha right behind him. There are a lot of compilation videos of other members scaring him, him scaring himself and on shows being scared. The horror movie watching scene is pretty accurate.

Just like Adore, I lost it too during the farting scene because of Mer even though this is probably my 8th time watching this drama. 🤣 As for the word “oppa”, it has multiple meanings. It’s not just used for your older brother but also as a term of endearment for a cute guy, sometimes an older cute guy. So Juyoung mistinterpreting Gowoon and Seojoon’s relationship is a little understandable. Pay attention to Eunwoo’s acting in the next episode. It’s one of a few crying scenes in this drama that just proves he can act and is not just a pretty face. As for Seojoon being a good friend, man, he should get the best friend award for this drama. He will have many more instances where he shows what loving someone really means, the total opposite of Soojin. But don’t despair, I don’t want to spoil it for you, but know that this drama will not leave you hanging by the time it ends. There will be some kind of resolution for everyone.

I just love the way the sister is written, and the actress is just perfect for the part !!!!

This episode was so stressful, but it's fun to watch it with y'all's commentary! I love the older sister, she definitely deserves more props from everyone, so I love that you guys talk about her. :D As for my confused bbs Suho and Jugyeong, even though I hate the way the convo outside the coffee shop is written, I do get what the show is going for by putting them in parallel situations. Each knows their friend likes their partner, but neither wants their partner to know about it while still wanting assurance from said partner that they would never go for the friend. An impossible situation when one is a teenager with no discernible communication skills!

Also!!!! Anytime there are scenes from the Move Entertainment agency, posters on the wall are scenes from Astro’s MV!!! (Knock, Blue Flame, Always You, for sure, I remember seeing at the top of my head)

I disliked that Suho demanded her to quit job but think from Suho's POV too. He asked her to tell everyone that they are dating, she refused. He doesn't know her reason nor she wants to tell. He also clearly told Sujin off that he has girlfriend. I mean imagine you have a BF and your BF always stay with someone who has feeling for him and is someone you don't like and there are rumors dating him, how would you feel? I believe in trust but somethings are painful. The best solutions would have been them telling everyone they are dating to overcome insecurity. Suho wouldn't nor would Im Juyeong would have this insecurity if they had told everyone they are dating and were honest from the start. I mean Suho was fine when Im Juyeong even lied to him that she is with family and was with SJ working. Also, Suho never lied to Im Juyeong. She asked him what you are doing, he said I at home, it was not lie. If she had said whom with you were and if he hided it, it would have been lie. But Im Juyeong lied to him and then want him to trust her is an issue. Also, let's not forget in front of Suho, Seojun was trying to get Jugyeong in episode 8.
