It's time for our first winner on our newest dance practice/performance poll, and thanks to suggestions to add an extra lyric video, this one hits us pretty hard. Rocky's vocals are amazing, and he absolutely blew us away!

I always feel like a proud mom every time I see people reacting to this. Rocky’s singing voice is soooo good and I can still feel the heartbreak in this song 🥹 If I’m not mistaken and as far as I remember, Hyungwon said he knew Rocky for so many years but he didn’t know he can sing THAT well. Then Jooheon asked him why of all the years that Rocky (Astro) debuted, why didn’t he sang like that before on their other songs. Rocky said it’s because their company thought his voice is so strong for Astro’s concept so he doesn’t had the chance to showcase it. But during Jinjin and Rocky’s subunit debut I was really happy they were able to do what they really wanted to do especially for Rocky. If you’d look at their subunit teasers, everything is so refreshing to the eyes because their whole concept is so unique and fun 🥹

Yes, Rocky auditioned to be a vocalist but the agency needed another rapper for Astro so he decided to debut as such. Rocky does have a small high not part in Innocent Love balled but it rarely showcased him doing it for performances, except when they had their concert. It’s why I love JinJin & Rocky’s album because he was the vocalist for it and he had the opportunity to show more of this side of him. Thank you for appreciating his talent as a vocalist too
