With new energy after a small break, we're ready to dive into episode 2 and it sure doesn't disappoint. Euntak is so stinking adorable and we can't help but love her more after this episode. And as for our Goblin, he might want to deny it but he's clearly drawn to her too. His stress over what he's doing or holding next time she summons him is proof of that. We're also loving the dynamic between him and our reaper already, and we're shipping this romance. To top it off, we meet Sunny, Euntak's new boss, and despite her gloomy disposition, there's something charming about her as well. We can't wait for the next episode!

Glad you ladies are looking and feeling better! Ji Eun Tak did mention, in the last episode if I'm not mistaken, that she can tell when it's a ghost when there's no shadow. That's how she recognizes her mom when she lights her birthday candles and realizes her mom does not cast any shadow. Ghosts are souls that choose to remain on earth for a time because they have unfulfilled desires. They can escape the grim reapers. Remember when Ji Eun Tak's mom dies when she turns 9, the Grim Reaper goes to their house to look for her because she wasn't at the hospital. The mom's soul wanted to settle her affairs before she crosses over so she visits the grandma first to ask her to look into her daughter every now and then, and then finally she visits Ji Eun Tak to celebrate her birthday one last time. In the drama, they did this in reverse order to make the surprise more effective that she is now a ghost, but this order makes more sense because they showed her fading away and saying she had to go during that heart-wrenching scene with 9 year old Ji Eun Tak.
