I actually really like this episode. While it is kinda slow I liked the court setting because we haven't seen that before in this show, I liked the short discussion about the guilty-thing for someone who doesn't remember, I loved the bits with Reid and the dad shown throughout the episode and I adored Hotch on the stand profiling the other attorney. That was kinda hot.. Also the judge, he was so done with everything. And the way he leaned over to check out the socks made me laugh 😂

I always felt this episode was kind of symbolic of how Serial killers become famous for their crimes while their victims are forgotten. Through the fame and notoriety serial killers receive from documentaries, podcasts, and books, they gain fans, money and status. Often, no one even knows or remembers the names of the victims. The killer gets sympathy here from doctors and guards for his amnesia. The scenes with Reed and the father give great insight to the families left behind suffering the loss of the victim alone. Great review Travis. Also, did you notice the guard was Carlos’ mom from Lonestar? 😊
