We did get some of Claire's backstory by the way. Back in episode 1x10 when she and Charlie were abducted by Ethan.

This one is definitely not one of my favorites, although I really enjoy the flashback scenes just because I like seeing more of Charlie before he spiraled, he is going through his own struggles and demons here but is still responsible and functioning well, he's the one that's keeping the band together, writing new songs and literally taking care of Liam and I feel so bad for him at the end, the way Liam sold his piano that their mother gave him and just abandoned him was so brutal. And the fact that Liam in the moth episode had the audacity to judge him for still using! Well yeah what did he expect when you left him all alone and yeah, I blame Liam for Charlie's downfall. Yes, he needs to take accountability but it never would have happened if it wasn't for Liam being an awful brother. And I also love the song that he wrote, Saved. You can actually listen to a full version of it on youtube, it's great. But it's the island stuff that I skip, again I just feel bad for him. He's clearly going through something, I honestly think the Island was messing with him just like it did to Kate and others but because he was a drug addict that means he's using, even though he actually never does. I did like that he did call them out on this. Yes, he was wrong for taking the baby but punching him like 3 times was way too much, especially when Locke is double his size. I don't know, it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
