I'll answer the your questions but only because this has been mentioned in the show already and you probably forgot: The Zat'n'ktel (or Zat-Gun as Jack calls it) issues an energy bolt that'll incapacitate on first hit, kill on second and make the body disappear on the third. As for the Goa'uld markings on the foreheads: They are different depending on the Goa'uld that the Jaffa works for (Snake is for Apophis) and the regular ones have just the black tattoo. The gold ones are for Primes (first officers) like Teal'c who followed Bra'tac in the position. Fro'tak had a pretty high standing, so his was silver. Will not touch on any of the hypotheticals you said in the end - you'll have to keep watching :)
