Such a good episode! I've been waiting for this one.

Molly Moon

Savage way to kill off Alicia . Chloe did have a good moment there! That was very sweet of her.

For me this was my turning point episode for Chloe to be much more likable. This was needed for her character. Also the way Alicia character died was brutal although she unfortunately lied about keeping his secret forever... I like that Lois was able to see a vulnerable version of Clark. Relationship growth! Her advice was also great for Chloe Sullivan at the end about secrets.

Alicia just wanted to be heard and to be free. She deserved better than to die like that. I daresay that if she was a bit more stable mentally (she was a very disturbed and traumatized girl) this could have really worked out for her and clark. That being said, Jonathan and Martha should really start trusting their son's instincts more. He's not a total idiot. And finally, see the tiny tiny sarcastic throw at Lana? right there in Lois' words. If you really cared about someone you'd let them reach the conclusion that they can trust you with their secrets, instead of giving them the guilt trip or demand answers. That is the kind of thinking and attitude Clark needs from a potential better half. Not all that Lana whining "Boo hoo why aren't you more honest with me?" crap

I was wildly unprepared for the disdain for Alicia😂 I really thought once she got out of that facility she wanted to change but breaking years of mental illness routines is hard. Also Clark cries, I cry. No contest😭

Damn, I completely forgot that was how Alicia died. I remember that she died, but I didn't remember the specifics. If I had remembered, I would've warned you. On another note, look at Chloe with some growth. If I found out a secret like that from my best friend, I probably wouldn't be able to function for at least a couple weeks lol

Elsa Reinsch

This episode aired just before Supernatural. This one aired in Feb 2005 and Supernatural season 1 was Sep of that same year.

I get Chloe's disappointed. I mean, Clark's been her best friend for years, before she was a journalistic tattletale. Must be hard finding out he never trusted her enough to tell her the truth. So I think her reaction is honestly kind of big of her, especially knowing her. And yes, whenever Lois pops in, it's like "yaaaaay!!" And whenever she announces she's leaving, it's for sure "booooh!" Get that woman a promotion to series regular already. Erica improved that show in every way.
