Interesting that you said that in the end. While watching I also thought that this season so far is very different and creative with a lot of new villains and concepts, which can be a good thing for some people if they like the villains and also a bad thing for people who doesn't and maybe miss their usual bad guys.

I really like this episode and the whole shrinking tardis. A lot of fun moments. Also the fact Clara managed to find a solution by herself without the doctors help was nice! I believe this was the episode I began to like Capaldi as the doctor

Fun fact, my best friend's husband -Max, wanted to make her Tardis jewellery box, but at some point fucked up dimensions and made her half real sized Tardis cabinet (don't ask how, still wonder) 😅 funny enough it was during Matt Smith era so this half and small sized Tardis was not in cannon that this episode introduced. After this episode aired we laughed that Max predicted canon small Tardis😂

Siobhan Linehan

Another fantastic episode. This season is truly fantastic. Definitely a very different tone you're right, but in a great way. The look and personality of The Doctor changes with each regeneration, but the whole vibe of the show changes each time too. And that's why this show's been going for 60 years, they keep it fresh. Sometimes the changes work and sometimes they don't, but it's always interesting. Clara really was fantastic as The Doctor. I don't think any other companion could've pulled that off, she's in a league of her own for me. 👑 Also Rigsy was a fantastic side character. There were several funny moments. And the mystery of who Missy is and why she's interested in Clara is such a great one. Really intriguing. 👀
