“Maybe it’s me, maybe I’m just awesome” 😂 I think that’s true, Travis! I do agree that the show does a really good job of helping us understand everyone’s different perspectives but I’ve also seen someone else react to it and not understand certain perspectives as easily as you can so don’t discredit yourself that 😌 Although sometimes I wish Emmett wasn’t as quick to anger as he is in some of these situations because we know Bay is learning and trying her best, his perspective that he explained makes so much sense and I love that he asked Daphne’s help to interpret to make sure what he wanted to say was communicated to Bay. There’s a big difference between interpreting for someone and speaking for them, which is what Bay did with the tamales, and why Emmett was understandably upset. Bay does a great job though of asking questions to better understand Emmett instead of shutting down right away like he can sometimes. But I just love them, I think it’s beautiful how they learn from each other 💛

It's different because episode 10 was the mid-season finale. Took a break and came back in January.

The show does an amazing job at showing each character's POV and you get to understand where each character is coming from and you can empathize with each characters actions/feelings. Some shows can't pull off nuanced writing and create three-dimensional characters but this show does a great job in that this season as you're starting to get familiar with these characters.
