Poll for Tiers 2 and up! (Patreon)

So, I know a lot of people genuinely enjoy Brewster's Brood but I have another idea rolling around in my head (I know, I know! "CP! Finish some stories before starting more new stuff!" But If I'm Honest will conclude its first season with IIH12 and QT:B1 will also wrap in September.) This new one I'm going to start doing some prep work for on the side, because I want to get a ton of the world building and planning done beforehand, so I have sort of a Writer's Bible for it before I start on the project. This poll is for anyone at the Tier 2 or above, because your decision impacts what you're paying extra for.

On one hand, I can keep delivering two chapters of Brewster's Brood every month, and at some point, the new piece can just appear for everybody as another standard story in the options of rotation. Or, if people feel like they'd rather see more variation for their money, I can reduce Brewster's Brood to just one chapter a month (albeit I'd probably make them longer chapters again - not necessarily the full 10k each and every month, but averaging at around 7.5k a month, instead of two 5ks) and I can give the other slot to this second story, which would also be exclusively for Tier 2s and up.

I can hear you asking me right now - "CP! What's this story about?" Well, I don't want to give too much away, but what I can tell you is that it's a story with multiple protagonists (3-5, a combination of men and women), it's both modern sci-fi and spy fiction, and it's somewhat inspired by one of my favorite cult works of all time, a British tv show from the 60s called The Prisoner. There's also elements of The A-Team, Mission: Impossible and Lost mixed in. The working title on my notes is Honeywell Island, although that title may very well change.  It won't be a "harem" style story, but there will be loads of sex in it, because, well, duh. 

If, it turns out, the tier 2 crowd wants to stick with their 2 chapters of BB a month, that's absolutely fine. What I may do at that point is to give HI its own one a month slot starting during the mainline QT break, and see how the story does on its own.

Either way, we've been going with 2 chapters of BB for a while now, and I felt it only fair to offer you higher tier subscribers the chance to decide where that time and effort goes. If you want me to stick to doing two BB chapters a month, that's totally cool. If you want me to bring BB down to just 1 a month and have a second story (in this case Honeywell Island) added to the monthly rotation, that's cool too. 

If it goes to Tier 1, then it'll also eventually go to the public sites, probably in the standard 3-5 month behind timeframe they're in right now. If it stays as a Tier 2 and up, it won't go to public sites, but when it's eventually a full-fledged novel, it'll probably go on sale, but you'll already have read all of it (and helped shape it as it goes!) Also, if it gets added to T2 and up, it still probably wouldn't start until September or October. If it goes to T1, expect to see the first chapter for everyone sometime around then instead.

(I also threw an option in for if you'd like to see a second story added to the monthly T2 rotation instead of 2 BB chapters, but HI doesn't sound like your cup of tea. If you choose that option, please let me know what kind of story you'd like to see taking that slot in the comments. Maybe you want to see me tackle a genre of some kind that I haven't thought about! Some of the other ideas I've got rattling around in my head: the first sentient AI attempts to play matchmaker, another story set in what I'm calling the Modern Erotic Mythos world where a thief steals something that lets him change his appearance, and a sci-fi sex comedy about a man who accidentally becomes the King of Earth and gets caught up in intergalactic politics in a way he hates that may still end up saving the human species. (Like I said, the idea notebook is full of things.)

Standard rules apply - there are no wrong answers here. It's purely measuring how happy people are with their Tier 2 benefits, and if I should be just sticking to what we have and what works, or if you'd like to have two exclusive stories (at a slightly slower rate) instead of one. I imagine there'll be a clear-cut winner. I just don't know what it'll be yet.

I'm happy to answer some questions about HI but keep in mind, it's literally a page in my scratch notes files right now, so I'm probably going to stay vague when it comes to plot/characters/etc. Some people love change; some people loathe it. Me, I'm just checking in, seeing how people are feeling about all this. Sooner or later, the story'll start making its way out somewhere. Just thought I'd offer you some options as to where.
