The beginning of Breakpoint! (Patreon)

So, just a public announcement before I make the next post. I'm about to drop the first part of my new Patreon exclusive work, Breakpoint. It'll be for tier 2 subscribers and up, just like Brewster's Brood, with a new chapter coming every month. 

In many ways, Breakpoint is a love letter to a handful of things that I've always loved and wanted to dabble with a bit, an old British TV show called The Prisoner, the first few seasons of an American TV show called Lost (before it crawled too far up its own ass), a book/movie called The Bourne Identity and an American tv show called The A-Team, with a visual identity drawn in a combination of Hawaii and Hong Kong, all with loads of sex and violence all over the place. 

There will be multiple protagonists over the course of Breakpoint but the opening section introduces you to two of them. The typical style of a Breakpoint post is that it will mostly be from one protagonist, but will generally include part from one of the other protagonists. I want readers to grow attached to all of them. 

Honestly, the image of Tex's bar, draped in neon while it constantly rains down, palm trees and jungle foliage crowding around it, that concept's been stuck in my head for a few months now. I can't wait to keep telling more and more of this story, so I hope you enjoy, and I hope if you're a tier 1 who thought "Well, I don't care about Brewster's Brood so I don't need to move up to tier 2," maybe this will lure you in.
