They still haven’t paid me yet.
TikTok Pre-Launch
I’m launching an official TikTok. People have been impersonating me there, leeching off my precious clout! Your follow will help me crush these bastards, and spread my influence to everybody’s favourite worst platform.

It's empty right now, but seriousely guys, It’s gonna help me a tonne when I do the main public launch.
What has had the most impact on your creative outlook?
One of the biggest, was experimenting with Astral Projection as a teenager. It was one of the first obsessions I had once I started delving into various communities on the internet. I never did see much of what was promised by other people’s accounts, like other beings or alien environments. But what I did experience had a profound impact on my view of perception in general.
The first time I had tried Astral projection, I did the warm up technique as they were described. Then as I did the visualisation technique, I had this electrical sensation surging through my body, and very quickly it felt like I had been launched out of a cannon. There was this intense, high pitched metalic ringing. The sensations accompanied a feeling like I was dying, or ego dissolving.
It was shocking to me how powerful a simple visualisation and relaxation technique could be in creating something that feels so otherworldy. If you experience it, there’s no denying to yourself that something extremely fucking weird has just happened. Its like a bomb just went off. I was shitting my pants that I had unlocked some kind of forbiden mental door.
It triggered in me several years of frequent sleep paralasys. Which sucked. But as I got more curious about it, I started experimenting with my perceptions while in the state. What still blows my mind, is how real and vivid the experience feels.
Sometimes my head would be locked in place, but I could feel my ‘body’ floating around and through the bed. On the rare occasion I could launch into a lucid dream and fly around my house and yard. What was interesting to me, was that if I was in the vicinity of my bed, the more real and ‘grounded’ the experience felt. The paralasys state has a quality that’s distinctive to a lucid dream. And Astral Projection is said to be an entire state altogether, but I have some skepticism. I gotta recognise the irony of my skepticism though, as what I’m describing already sounds pretty off the map already.
I never achieved the Astral state as it’s promised, beyond things like ego-death, the electric and buzzing sensations. It’s still quite elusive to me, and even more compelling because of the overawing weirdness that I had sampled from it.
It all gave me a tonne of creative fuel. Alien and etheral themes have always been a fascination to me since then.
How do you stay motivated doing your own thing?
Any time I’m feeling dull about my work, it’s usually because of some disconnect from the work, or over-focus on some abstract reward outside of the work itself.
Each month or so I try to have some new personal goal, that the work is facilitating. A new tool or format I want to try out. If the work is just gonna be a grind regardless, I try to find a way to shake things up every so often. This month a buddy and I are organsing a small cafe coworking group, as an experiment in community building. I think that if you feel like you’re growing, it’s hard to not be motivated.
Just some appreciation for the things I like and cool stuff I find. Check 'em out.
