In China you need to pass a physical examination to go to college. Even if your academic performance qualifies you for college admission, if you have disabilities you won't be admitted. That snuffs out life's hopes for majority of the disabled people in China who live in rural areas for whom the only way to beat the HuKou system to live legally in cities with better amenities and services is to go to college. It is bad luck to be born in China.
