Paul Newman

Yes! They get a bit samey at this point. Stallone gives his best performance in CREED BTW let's have some Hulk Hogan in 'Suburban Commando' or 'Mr. Nanny' 😁 😂

Bill W

Rocky 1 was a perfect film. Nothing missing. Btw, I see you're in a different room! You guys have been busy! 👍

Bill W

"Apollo looks like he's running effortlessly." He was. Weathers was a natural athlete. From a young age he competed in many sports... wrestling, judo, gymnastics, soccer, boxing and eventually making it to the pro level in football- 1 season with the Oakland Raiders and 2 seasons in the CFL. Mr. T also participated in martial arts, was city-wide wrestling champion 2 years in a row, and earned a college football scholarship. He became a gym instructor for the city of Chicago and discovered he had a gift for helping kids. He enlisted in the Army and served a tour as an MP. He tried out for pro football but didn't make the cut due to a knee injury. As a bouncer, he estimated he was in 200 fights, and worked as a personal security guard for big name celebrities which led to his acting career. Don't get him confused with Mr. Coffee.

Chicago Artist Jon

Mr. T played some high school football in Chicago and then got jobs as a bouncer and body guard which gave him some access to hollywood people. Eventually he got on TV in some tough guy competition where he caught Stalone's attention and he was invited to have a part in Rocky III. He went on to The A-Team TV series. He still lives near Chicago.

Bill W

Yes, Dawn. The song was written expressly for the movie. Check discord.

Louis Marzullo

I saw Mr. T win the World's Toughest Bouncer contest on NBC. Stumbled onto it purely by chance. They had to run a kind of obstacle course in a bar! Mr. T (real name: Laurence Tero) was wearing a doo-rag & ended up crashing through a wooden wall of the bar when I think all he was supposed to do was ring a bell when he got to the end of the course! A legend was born! I pity the fool who says otherwise...

Louis Marzullo

Love the new space! No more bumping your funny bone. I used to feel claustrophobic for you! 🥵

Louis Marzullo

Dawn, you need to create a new dish inspired by Thunderlips: Spaghetti & The Ultimate Meatball 😄

Louis Marzullo

His new Skechers ad with Tony Romo is hilarious! "T is ALWAYS in Skechers, Romo!" 🤣

Bill W

Fusili Jerry, Macaroni Midler and Rigatoni Rocky! 😀

Louis Marzullo

In defense of Mick: If Rocky had retired after he won the title from Apollo, he wouldn't have made the millions he made & could never have bought that chandelier, which probably cost more than all the money I've made in my life! 😂

Robert Inman

Dawn, Mr T's iconic character was established in a TV series called The A Team 1983-87

Chicago Artist Jon

Might be a good time to remember some Donald Sutherland classics like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Animal House, M*A*S*H and Kelly’s Hero’s to name a few. RIP.

Louis Marzullo

"Everyone after me..." Ain't that the truth! 😂

john ruddick

The first and third I consider to be works of art both very different in nature.

john ruddick

You have to watch a few episodes of "The A-Team" Dawn it will expand your Mr. T knowledge.

john ruddick

The reason for Mr. T's names is best encapsulated by the great man himself "I think about my father being called "boy", my uncle being called "boy", my brother, coming back from Vietnam and being called "boy". So I questioned myself: "What does a black man have to do before he's given respect as a man?" So when I was 18 years old, when I was old enough to fight and die for my country, old enough to drink, old enough to vote, I said I was old enough to be called a man. I self-ordained myself Mr. T, so the first word out of everybody's mouth is "Mr."

Darrell Thorpe

Hulk Hogan is 6’7” and Sylvester Stallone is 5’10”…so a 9” height difference is substantial.
