I was soooooo nervous especially during the 6th place announcement!!! I feel like all the trainees that passed round 1 are talented enough to be in round and maybe even debut so I'm happy with the ones who made it...

I'm glad Gyuri made it but I feel bad for Yui. I wanted her to stay with Koko til the end even if they didn't debut. They've been together for 5 years. The way Mnet played with her emotions this episode pissed me off. Mnet is and will always be a heaping pile of crap. I think the number for the final lineup flashed on the screen is 5 or 7. The top of the number looked like a flat line, so these would be the only numbers that would fit that. If it's 5, I think it's possible that it could mean 5 voted in and the producers will add a pick or the 5 will be a mix of our picks and producers similar to how RU Next was done. 7 would probably be the same as season 1 where 6 were voted in plus 1 producer pick. From what I'm seeing in Korea, the trio of Jeemin, Saebi and Koko are picking up a lot of support. I really think Koko is gonna debut unless Mnet really tries to cut her down in some way. She's basically overtaken Mai as the #2 foreigner imo and she's not far behind Fuko either. The Korean fans that are mad that their visual picks got eliminated are trying to push a troll vote of Sujung, Juwon and Jungeun. I don't think there is enough of them to make a big difference but I'll happily take the boost for these 3, no matter how big or small. The 3 I'm voting for right now are: 1. Yuju: She'll be my number 1 until the end. I want her debut so I can switch Nam Yuju is HER to become Nam Yuju is HERE. If she doesn't make it, I don't think I'll care about the group. 2. Sujung: There's a big drop off after Yuju, and out of the rest I think I like Sujung the most. I'd rather have her debut somewhere else where she can be free to express herself and be creative. She could be the dancer version of Jeon Soyeon. 3. Koko: I mostly picked her because I feel like her and Sujung are the closest friends to Yuju out of who I like. She deserves to debut here and I feel like she could become an idol similar to Momo if they let her cook. I'm considering Sarang here also. If the producers do what I think they will and set up Sujung and Juwon to get eliminated before the final, then Sarang is my pick to replace Sujung. If Gyuri can survive to the final and it's 2 pick, I'll vote for her with Yuju. She has strong Korean 1 pick power and could sneak in the group. I'm not one of those types that vote a 1 pick and fill the rest of the spots with the most popular contestants. It's mathematically better for the 1 pick but I'm gonna vote for who I want and if they don't make it then their destiny is to be somewhere else. Even if I'm not thrilled I'm voting my pick into a group managed by WakeOne's incompetence and produced by a guy putting out 2NE1 leftovers and "samples" from almost 40 years ago.

I decided to give a prediction for the final 12 contestants. Let's start with the 6 that were just voted in. 1. Jeemin - she is a certified lock to debut. She's so popular that Mnet doesn't even need to show her that much on the program. They're gonna hitch someone to her wagon in order to get them more popularity. Korea has linked her with Saebi and Koko for the tower trio, but I think they're gonna add someone else to the mix in order to push them over the line. Jeemin basically has reservoir of votes where you could cut her votes in half and use them to debut 2 people. There's 3 candidates for this imo. Sarang, Gyuri & Yuju. 2. Koko - the rocket has been strapped. I think she's gonna get a hard push in Part 2 and they might set her up against Sujung in a battle where she'll win and the producers can crap on Sujung and justify eliminating her. They're gonna play up the tower trio girls so that there won't be any doubt about her debut. If they reveal a vote ranking before the finale for this 3 pick we're doing, don't be shocked if she's top 3. 3. Yuju - her edit has been falling off ever since she aced the signal song. I think they still like her and she does fit the Black Label style. She's the best rapper left and I think she'll get an edit that causes her to gain more 1 picks in Korea. If the lineup is 5, she's in trouble, if it's 7, well... Nam Yuju is HER. 4. Sujung - she has international voting power and the Korean girls like her a lot. Similar to Yuju, she'll need a 7 member group to make it. I just feel like Mnet doesn't want her in the group and they're gonna try to break her and set her up to get eliminated. If she makes the final and there is 7 debut spots, I think she sneaks in unless they give her a Su Ruiqi yawn party type of edit. 5. Juwon - she has no chance. I was surprised she got this far. I thought Yui had more Korean support and would edge her out for 6th behind Gyuri. (Juwon & Yui were basically tied as Juwon only had 6 more Korean votes) My opinion of her is quite polarized. I like her a lot and I think she has a ton of potential but on the other hand when she does the crybaby stuff I thinks it's completely cringe and I want her off my screen. Either way, she's gonna finish 12th. 6. Gyuri - hot take alert! We are looking at our final group's maknae. This episode is going to get more people on board with her. She's gonna have more people emotionally invested in her. She'll shine when it matters most, in the final episode. She'll fly under the radar until the penultimate episode where Mnet will give her that final push to put her over the edge. Mnet final voting is usually 1 pick and her Korean 1 pick is god tier. Even if there are only 5 debut spots, if all 5 are voted in, she debuts. Now on to the 6 who were already safe: 1. Jiyoon - Her edit has worked wonders. I expect her to get more of an angel edit in part 2 where she eventually makes up with Jungeun to get that last bit of people emotionally invested. Her Korean 1 pick is top tier as well. She just needs to avoid a blow up and it's smooth sailing (cignature!) to debut. 2. Saebi - the third of the tower trio girls. She has a high multi-pick vote but I think she lacks in 1 pick power. I expect an edit to get her more 1 pick fans. They could set up someone else they don't want to debut to put her over. They will also play more into the relationship between her and Jeemin to get some of her spare 1 pick power. 3. Fuko - something feels off. I don't really know what it is exactly, but my gut tells me that she's in trouble. I bet if I go back to look at old polls and compare them to recent ones, it'll show that her support has been declining slowly but consistently. I feel like she is in that group fighting for the last 1 or 2 spots now. Expect the unexpected with Mnet. They might pull a 180 on her and use her to boost up Gyuri. 4. Sarang - She's grown on me the most out of anyone on the show. She's still like rank 5 for me personally, but I cared about my top 4 after episode 1, where she didn't make my top 7 until the unit battle. I want her to debut here but not at the expense of Yuju or Gyuri, so I'm praying for 7 spots. As for her votes, she's middle of the pack in everything. I know Monika loves her, so Mnet might give her a boost to see if it helps. She needs to pop off in part 2 to have any chance. 5. Mai - Mnet done f*cked up. They pushed her so hard that she's getting Kim Dayeon level hate from people. She has the highest average score in performances out of everyone on the show. Where would you rank her talent wise, though? 6. Jungeun - she has international support but it won't be enough. I'd be surprised if she makes it in the lineup from votes. I honestly think the producers might be satisfied with Jiyoon as their main vocal and if Gyuri or Fuko also make it, they won't see a need to add another vocalist. The producers could then shift their pick to something the group is lacking, for example a main rapper named Nam Yuju because as we all should know... Nam Yuju is HER

What a painful episode ( Yui ) So my prediction: If group is 5 - Tower Trio is in ( MNET and Koreans are pushing this so hard ), then you need Yungeun/Yiyoon and you need a leader so Fuko/Sujung. If group is 6 ( i assume this is it ) - Tower Trio is in, two of vocalists are in ( Fuko, Yiyoon, Jungeun ) and you need Sujung as a dancer. If group is 7 ( best case scenario and it SHOULD be 7 for many reasons ) - then i don't think all from Tower Trio is in, you have flexibility to add so much talent from the show so big chance for Yuju, Sarang and Fuko to be in this group. Only chance for Gyuri too. For eliminated people hope to see especially Yui and Soul to debut someday in the future. For me i want Sujung, Sarang, Yuju the most to debut.

I am worried for Sujung. Mnet doesn't seem to like her as much as the other trainees and a lot of people have been mentioning that recently. Quite curious why they said the number of final members is too little... it makes me think it might be 5 which sucks because we have a lot of talented trainees left

I will be honest, I've never been a huge fan of Mai. Kim Dayeon at least is an all-rounder with amazing dancing skills... Mai seems okay in all areas but master of none and pushed too much. However, she's as ready to debut as the others but more than them? not sure

I liked her early on but it turned out I was just token supporting her because Yuju was her partner for that friend activity before they had to split into teams and she gave Yuju the song she wanted. The creative team battle made me sour on her. Saebi should have gotten more praise for that performance, but the producer's wanted to push Mai. They shouldn't have won either. The scores were obviously manipulated.
