One of the overt reasons Milim attacks Eurazania is because Carrion supposedly betrayed an agreement of non-interference between the Demon Lords....... Demons specialize in magic, so Diablo's admiration of Rimuru's (really Raphael's) magic is sincere...... So about Veldora: to the casual observer he seems weak right now. For one thing, Rimuru taught him how to hide his aura. He didn't do that before so no one is expecting it. But he does have all of his power for two reasons. Normally when a True Dragon revives from death, he would need to consolidate a body from magicules, and that takes time. Rimuru gave him a body from the beginning, and the Soul Corridor between the two of them acts to stabilize him sooner. I got the impression that there was a initial small window of time where Veldora couldn't form his dragon body. True Dragons are the most powerful beings in that world, and they have the most permanence. They are spiritual beings who can form their own physical bodies (unlike other spiritual beings). As beings evolve they become more spiritual and less physical. Slime world is semi-spiritual which requires most spiritual beings to have a physical body to maintain being in that world. That is the situation with Demons, for example.

Remember when Diablo redirected an attack with his breath into the sky? The missing little finger Pirone that Clayman mentioned was in the sky over him at the moment. You can guess why she's missing....... Even the good guys get overconfident. Rimuru worries about it all the time. ..... I wonder if Milim's "Stampede" wasn't something Frey made up to deter Clayman? ...... It's interesting about Leon. You can see he doesn't talk much. If you had watched Veldora's Journal 2 (Ep. 36.5, iirc), you'd have seen Ifrit talking about Leon and Shizu, and you would have seen that Shizu's wasn't the only perspective on what happened. It doesn't absolve anyone, but it adds complexity to their characters. (This is one of the interesting aspects of an episode that was essentially a recap.) ....... True Dragons are siblings only by virtue of being the same kind. ...... They mentioned an Empire. This is also referred to as the "Eastern Empire", or "the East". It has an official name, but it hasn't been revealed yet. Mjollmile is from Blumund. There's no reason to suppose that there is only one merchant in the world.

Where do you get all this info from? Is it the manga you've read? I feel like you manage to discover layers of complexity to this show that I couldn't possibly unravel haha so great job honestly!

I'd say the obvious answer is that I read the light novels. But it's also that I have made this anime my hobby so I have been commenting for at least a year on others' reactions, reading others' comments, rereading, researching things if I don't remember or don't understand or there is disagreement in the comment sections. Then I have been writing out my comments many times and refined them. Then there is my tendency to be detail-oriented and long-winded lol. The one thing I rarely do is check the wiki because I don't know how they come up with their conclusions, which often seem odd to me.

Haha yeah reactors do seem to get tunnel vision and when they hear 'merchant' they can only think of the one that is close to Rimuru, it is as if they think there would only be one merchant in the whole verse lmao
