Do you worry about being spoiled? I am asking because the information you got from the wiki summary told you something that 95% of all reactors did not figure out. There are multiple interpretations, most very vague. Just thought I would warn you. ................................................................. The timing of the .5 episode was because it was during the Olympics. It is a recap from Luminus' POV with only a couple of pieces of new information. Only a couple of reactors posted videos even to Patreon that I know of.

Yuuki already said in Season 2 when he met with Clayman in a flashback in Ep. 24 that he wanted to "make the world ours", and it'll be fun. Hinata has a reason to still suspect Yuuki. The first time Laplace infiltrated Lubelius was a time she was called away, and I think it might be because of the Eastern Merchants. The second time Laplace got in, she was there, but only because she suspected an invitation from Yuuki was an excuse to call her away. I could have some of this wrong but each time it was one of the two who tried to draw her away.

Winning over the Church is key to winning over the West. The Rozzo's are also the Five Elders, they control the economics of the West, which is one reason why Damrada, representing the Eastern merchants, wants to maintain a window with them. But as far as trying to get rid of Tempest as an economic sphere, the Eastern merchants don't care who they deal with, they'd just become another customer. Cerberus is an underground organization, one of whose leaders is Damrada. Yuuki is also connected with a broader agenda. Damrada is both allied with and works for Yuuki. Damrada directed the scheme to blame the death of Reyhiem on Diablo and Rimuru, so as to get rid of Hinata, Diablo, and hopefully Rimuru, in alliance with the Rozzo's, to keep Falmuth from falling into monster hands. Fortunately for him, he realized that sticking around in Falmuth and directing the eradication of Diablo personally wouldn't be good for his lifespan, so he fled. The latter was the Rozzo's goal, hoping to maintain their control over the West's economy, and Damrada was hoping to make money out of the war. Damrada also was advancing Yuuki's goal of getting revenge on Rimuru for basically killing Clayman, but also to maintain his own interests.

True, at the very least Rimuru has to avoid being on bad terms with the Church. If the Church were to declare his nation 'enemies of God' then they would be unable to make any alliances with the Western Nations due to the Church's influence. Not only that, if the Church proclaims the monsters in Tempest are dangerous, I doubt human merchants and citizens would visit their city. His goals would be up in smoke just like that
