Hi, good episode. I was wondering, are you reading my comments lately? It's hard to tell because it looks like even your Patreon posts are some amount of time after you watch the episode. Is it 2 episodes? 4? Part of the reason I subscribe to Patreon at all is to watch fresh episodes. I want my comments to be relevant. So if they aren't, I will stop most of them. ........................................................................ Many people, including you, seem to want to defend Rimuru when foreign country advisors and rulers say Rimuru is a threat. Well, looking at it objectively, he is a threat, regardless of personal ties and friendship. As Elmesia pointed out, Rimuru is of a long-lived race. Things can happen. You must always be prepared, if you're a ruler of a country, for what other countries could do. It's the job of advisors to tell the ruler what he doesn't want to hear. So these are good, trusted advisors to Gazel. Both rulers see there is great potential for Rimuru to exert power, with great sophistication, even if it's not through military power (but there's that, too). Gazel recognized the threat, but he's fascinated with what Rimuru will do next, and although he's putting his own country first, he wants to see Rimuru do his thing. Elmesia is, like, this guy has all the signs of making his country a superpower and we can't ignore him. Btw, Henrietta, Gazel's spymaster, hasn't been doing nothing. Spies from Dwargon and several other countries have been investigating Tempest since at least the day Gazel told her to keep an eye on him. And Rimuru knows it; he has his own spy group too. He's letting the spies do their thing, but he's hiding a lot from them. The foreign spies even were able to spy on the battle between Hinata and Rimuru, but certain very secret information were obscured: Luminus, the usage of Skills, etc. ................. Empress Elmesia El-Ru Thalion. She is more than 2000 years old, and is actually the one who established the country. She is Erald's niece. He is her top advisor.

Thanks man! I do always read your comments, but I understand it might be hard to tell since my posts sometimes come out a little after I watch the episodes and I record several together. Usually, I record 4-6 episodes at once. This helps me keep better track of what's going on :) As for your thoughts on Rimuru, you make a good point! From the perspective of other rulers and their advisors, it makes sense to still see him as a potential threat, even if he means well.
