Beretta never served Guy Crimson. In fact, during her conversation with Guy, Beretta strongly hinted, and Guy outright said it, that Beretta was part of Noir's lineage as a Greater Demon. It was part of Beretta's argument to Guy to convince Guy to let her fight on Rimuru's side, that if Beretta couldn't be of service to Rimuru here and now (at Walpurgis), then she wouldn't get an opportunity because Rimuru had a being far greater serving him. Guy asked what lineage she came from, and the answer led Guy to conclude it was Noir. Guy had also asked, who do you really serve? Beretta said his Creator and Master, Rimuru, had assigned her to protect Ramiris as if she was her master. Guy, out of concern for Ramiris, made Beretta choose. Beretta chose Ramiris, but left a loophole: if she and Ramiris moved to Tempest, Beretta could serve Rimuru by serving Ramiris.
