Chapter 13

Jesse and Nathan were standing close to the bathrooms, but they were not there yet. Supposedly, they both, because he asked him to, were about to enter the bathroom, but it seems Nathan had a different plan.

The “bathroom” was just an excuse for him to have some time alone with Jesse. Nathan wanted to get away from the girls so that they could both speak in a more private environment. Why?

“Dude, I need your help. What… what can I talk about with your sister?” Nathan said, grabbing Jesse by the shoulders.

Not shaking him, but he needed to really show how desperate he was.

Jesse looked up at him, and he was so confused.

First of all, why was the 6´2” guy in the need of advice from the 5´5” guy? Jesse´s certain that, if any woman turned right now and looked at both of them, they were most likely to pick Nathan as the most attractive one.

But, here´s the thing. Natha´s not in the need of advice with just any woman. He´s not asking him for dating advice, of catchy phrases, nothing related to body-language. Nathan´s asking Jesse for help with Mavis, his sister.

It makes sense, Jesse knows her since… forever. The question is, why is he so desperate? Why does he need help?

“Talk?” Jesse asked, looking at Nathan with a confused expression.

“Yes! Dude, your sister´s… she´s gorgeous! I… I´m not going to get into too much detail, but she´s the girl of my dreams.” Nathan explained, making a brief pause at the end to look aside as a mental image of Mavis appears in his mind. He was delighted by that quick image.

“Gorgeous? Mavis?” To Jesse, she´s a tall bully. And he doesn´t see her the same way Nathan might. “Well, she´s kind of moody, so… whatever you pick, you must be careful.” Jesse said.

“That´s what I mean! What do I talk about? I´ve been trying to be careful all night, but it´s not taking me anywhere! Do you… do you know if she´s got hobbies? Maybe… favorite band? Movie? Dude, I could use anything!” It was quite impressive to see someone so desperate to talk to Mavis.

Jesse felt bad for the guy. First of all, he was in love with Mavis? She´s no good for him. What´s he thinking?

Maybe he was based on her body more than anything. Mavis was a towering, 6´6”, amazon. And she´s quite hot. At least that´s what most think. But she´s an unreachable beauty. Not just there for anyone. In this case, she was there for Jesse, but that´s because this was a part of the deal.

Corrie and Mavis were supposed to help him out in the dating world. But he wasn´t expecting someone else to struggle as much as he did.

Jesse was doing pretty good with Nataly, which surprised him a bit. But it was even more surprising that a guy like Nathan struggled with his date.

Nathan´s a handsome 6´2” guy. With a slim, but athletic built. He´s dressed nicely, and at this distance, he can tell he´s wearing some cologne. So he´s not someone that takes his dates lightly.

And after hearing that crush he´s got on Mavis, maybe Nathan went the extra mile for this date.

He´s an attractive man, who shouldn´t struggle as much on dates. But the thing is, his date´s… kind of above him.

He´s Dating Mavis, a 6´6” amazon, or a goddess as Nathan would say.

She´s taller, bigger, and her curves are simply irresistible.

Mavis towers above Nathan by a good four-inches, but it´s not the height difference that´s the most impressive thing, but the size.

She´s much thicker than him, Nathan may be an average built man, but next to her, he looks rather skinny, small even.

Her hips are much wider than his, wider even than his shoulders. Mavis´s plump thighs are surely thicker than his waist. Thick thighs, made up of some strong muscles, but covered with a soft layer of feminine fat. She´s strong, but curvaceous. And soft to the touch.

Her boobs are by far the biggest ones he´s ever seen, and that he´d probably see. Her size alone thrills him, strikes him even!

When he first met her, Nathan was overwhelmed by her size, and during the past years, she´s only gotten bigger. He´s unsure if she´s grown taller, but she´s certainly gotten thicker.

Mavis´s built is strong, statuesque, but she´s also feminine and sexy. Nathan knows she´s strong, that there´s muscle in her body, probably more than there is in his. But those muscles are covered with a soft, sexy layer that gives her a curvaceous body.

Her flesh, fat and muscle, bounces lightly as she walks. Her curves sway in the most alluring of ways. Her breasts, so firm, so big, shaking as she moves, when she walks. Nathan can´t deny the speeding of his heart when she walks in. The pounding inside his chest when he glares at her.

She´s bigger, so what? She´s an angel, fallen from the sky just for him to meet her, to see her, bus all he can do. She´s undeniably out of his reach, out of his league. Maybe he´s not tall enough? Too small?

“She´s a tall queen that deserves to be worshiped…” he said, interlocking his fingers in front of his chest as if he was saving a prayer.

“She is?” Jesse asked.

“Yes! And now I´m on a date with her! I can´t believe it! I´m such a mess! So nervous… do you know… if she likes it?” Nathan asked.

“Likes it? You being nervous?” Jesse asked. So confused.

“Yes, I mean… maybe she likes…. shy guys. Who knows. Perhaps, she might find it cute, but she can´t allow anyone to notice, so she keeps it a secret. And, deep down, beneath that hard exterior, there´s a soft heart that wants to be loved.” Nathan explained.

Jesse wanted to giggle, he even wanted to burst out in laughter. Mavis? Sweet? Wishing for love?

“I don´t… think she´s that way.” Else, she wouldn´t pick on him so often. “She´s not as sweet…” he added.

“Then… what is she into? Like… is she a dom? Those women who want to set the rules and, you know, dominate? I wouldn´t mind being a sucker for her…” Nathan was certainly willing to give it all.

“What? Dom? Dude…” Jesse didn´t even want to think on that. “She´s just… hard to talk to. But… can we go back to the music and stuff?” It´s much easier to talk about that than about other things.

“Yeah, I think we could…” and so, they had a bit of a chat.

But things didn´t work out any better.

Nathan couldn´t manage to have a better conversation with Mavis. He knew a few things she liked, but that was it.

He couldn´t manage to make it sound smoother, to drop things in a casual way. Instead, due to all of the nervousness, he ended up rushing things. And, in the end, he ran out of topic to talk about.

Jesse, on the other hand, was doing quite well. But he couldn´t help but to glance at Nathan every now and then. He could see the nervousness in his look, how he couldn´t get any control at all, in the conversation, not even of himself.

Jesse felt bad. In part, he felt related to Nathan. He was, still is, a bit nervous. But not as much as he once was.

And the truth is, Nathan´s not bad at dating, but he´s dumbfounded as he´s now dating the woman of his dreams. A living dream, a beauty. Everything he´s looking for.

He said so to Jesse, who can´t believe anyone can look at Mavis in such way.

Deep down, he must admit, he was that way not so long ago. The only reason why Jesse´s not overwhelmed right now, is because Nataly is easy to talk to. But he failed to talk a while ago, not with Nataly, but with someone else…

That lady he saw at the store, the one that gave him a hand with the ketchup, he felt as if he ruined his chances. And he didn´t even knew her, she was no idol he´s been looking at, no woman he´s fantasized about meeting, she was a stranger, but a pretty stranger.

Nathan must feel the exact same way he did.

He´s got mixed feelings right now. Should he help? And a better question could be, can he? Should he?

If things worked out, then there´s a chance that Nathan won´t stop there. He´s likely to come and seek for help in Jesse. To find out as much as he can about Mavis. Does he want that?

No, he truly doesn´t. And, another thing he´s realized, is true desire.

Maybe desire is a very big word. Hope could be a replacement for it.

The way Nathan talks about Mavis, he´s sure he´s overwhelmed every time he sees her. Even every time he even thinks on her. And this gave him some thoughts on his own.

Is Nataly the one? She´s easy to talk to, and she´s pretty, but there´s no such thing as a spark. A spark that could lit up the fire of love. Nathan feels that fire every time he looks at Mavis, but all Jesse can feel while looking at Nataly is… nothing.

Nothing but to be certain she´s a kind woman. But, once again, she´s not here for him. Nataly´s there because Mavis asked her to.

This lead to another thing. He´s confident enough to find a date on his own now, thanks to these past dates. However, does he really want to date someone he didn´t ask out on his own?

If he had to guess, he could say that this double date was only possible because Mavis agreed to date Nathan. Nataly was just there, being kind and polite, because that was a part of the deal.

She´s not there for him. She´s not there wishing this goes on for more than just this. Just a date. Could things work out good enough for a second date? And if it does, would it be a double date as well?

That night, Jesse realized one thing, if he really wants to find a couple, then he must find her, alone.

He must ask the lady out, she must agree because of him, not because of any of his sisters´ requests. Jesse has to get a date for himself. He must do it, and then, just then, he´ll realize it´s true. That any feeling, if things work out well, that anything that works out, it worked out because of a mutual desire, not just a request from a third party.

And his mind was set in someone, that lady from the store…

Back at the table, with his mind now focused on everyone around, he could tell two things. One, Nataly was kind, attentive and smiling, but that could be just regular politeness. It doesn´t mean she´s enjoying this date as much as to make a second date out of this one. And this leads to another question, if there was another date, would Nathan have to come?

Nataly´s easy to talk to, but Nathan´s not having such an easy time with Mavis.

Jesse can tell, by looking at them from across the table, that Mavis is bored. The kind of boredom that´s an inch away from becoming annoyance. He knows his sister, he can tell Mavis is just one step away from getting mad. Thinking about it, she gets mad all the time, but she´s holding it back.

Why? Could it be because of him? Was his big sister actually taking this just for him to have a date? That was kind, he must acknowledge that. But it´ll be a good idea to get her some dessert, or she´ll actually get mad.

It´s kind of sad to see Nathan struggling so much. Could it be because Mavis didn´t want to come? Or, most likely, it was the deal that she came, in order for Jesse to get a chance with Nataly.

He could picture it, an arrangement, in which both men are here looking for a date, and both ladies are here in order to help out their respective brother. It´s kind, he can´t lie, but it´s also an eminent failure.

Jesse´s doing good, he doesn´t think his date´s a failure; But Natha´s the one who´s not going to get a second date, maybe not even a chance. It´s easy for him to spot it, in Mavis´s face, she´s been wanting to leave for about thirty minutes now.

Maybe it´s time to end things here?

“It was lovely, but… I´m feeling a little tired… how about you, Mae?” Jesse asked.

Mavis looked at him and blinked, was he actually speaking up? Was he actually trying to leave?

A part of her was mad. She´s gone through all this just for him to leave early?! It´s not even midnight! And another part of her was glad they were leaving. Nathan was annoying her so bad!

“You…? Well, I guess we should. It was a lovely date…” And so, they said goodbye.

Both twins waved at them as they left the table. Nathan couldn´t help but to think he blew his chances. Once again, he flew too close to the sun, so he thinks. Meanwhile, Nataly didn´t mind. It didn´t work, oh well, it´s not the end of the world.

“I messed up!” Nathan said, letting his face fall on the table. He made sure Mavis and Jesse had left the restaurant, he wouldn´t want her to see him like this.

“Come on, it wasn´t that bad.” Nataly said.

“No? Did… did he said anything about a second date? I mean… could we…” Nathan started.

“No, he told me it was lovely, but that his heart´s set on someone else. Makes me wonder why we dated on the first place…” Nataly said, giving it some thought.

“Crap… ok, maybe Mavis…?” Nathan started.

“Forget her, she´s not interested on you. Maybe because you´re all over her whenever we meet…” Nataly was right, he was kind of… suffocating her.

“I… maybe I seem a little desperate. But, she´s just… a goddess, how could I not do it?” Who could blame him? Mavis was out of this world, and now, she was out of the restaurant. Chatting with Jesse.

“So… are you really tired?” Mavis asked as she looked down at Jesse.

“Huh? Oh, yeah… I´m not. I just thought there was no point on going on.” Jesse admitted.

“And why is that?” Mavis asked.

“Well, I had some… thoughts. I´d like to share them with you, with both. I´d like it for Corrie to be with us before I tell you. If you don´t mind.” He said, as if he was asking for permission.

“Of course. No problem. Besides, you totally saved me from that date. Nathan´s such a sucker for me. I swear, it´s as if I could make him fall apart like a house of cards…” Mavis said, knowing very well the power she´s got on Nathan.

“You´re not wrong. I feel bad for him, he was so… excited, but it seems he´s not your type. Which… why did you come? I mean, I don´t mind you being here, but I´m sure you were not as excited to date him…” Jesse wanted to hear a confession, at least to know the reason.

“Well… I did it for you. Nataly wasn´t coming if Nathan didn´t. They had something to do, so I told her to come over and, well, maybe I was a part of the deal… he really wanted to date me, and I thought that could give you a chance with Nataly.” Mavis admitted.

“Aww, you did it for me?” Jesse felt so warm in the inside. His big sister cares.

“Sure, but just this once. Don´t think I´ll do everything for you all the time.” She cares, maybe she doesn´t want to feel compromised, but she cares.

It was lovely. His big sister looking after him, that was kind. But it´s one of the things he´d like to change.

He has a very special announcement to give, but he´d prefer if both his sisters are there. This is important, and he would like it for it to be explained once.

“You what?!” Both Corrie and Mavis said.

As soon as they got home, Jesse called Corrie, and gave both some news. He´d like for both to stop looking for dates for him; he wants to do it on his own.

“But… I had already found a date for you. I was about to ask he if she wanted…” Corrie started.

“Well, there´s no need. I appreciate what you´ve done for me. All of the trouble I know you went through, but I think it´s time for me to… get things done on my own.” He said.

“Are you sure?” Corrie asked. “Not even one more date?”

“Corrie, let it be. Besides, it means we don´t have to worry about finding a date for next Friday.” Mavis was glad this whole dating-scheduling was over.

“Don´t worry, I met someone, well, I haven´t met her. I´ve seen her… talked to her.” Jesse started.

“For real? Who is she? Do we know her? What´s her name?” Corrie dropped a question-bomb on him.

“I…” Those are answers he doesn´t have, he just looked at his 6´8” amazon of a sister as he felt overwhelmed with questions. “I don´t… know.” He admitted.

Corrie was so happy at first, and now she´s kind of confused.

Mavis simply laughed out loud and spoke next. “You don´t? So… have you been stalking her? Looking at her from behind the bushes or something? Don´t be so creepy, little bro…”

“No! I did not! I… just forgot to ask her name… that´s all.” And speak. His encounter with that gorgeous lady he met at the store was not… as good as he would´ve wanted.

“Would you like one of us to meet her? You know, to see if she´s available?” Corrie said.

“No! No, no, no. I´ll do it on my own. Just… give me some time.” And he truly needs time. A lot!

A few questions popped on his mind. When will he meet her again? Will he even meet her again? And, what will happen if he fails? Well, he´ll be soon to know…
