NEW PATREON PAYMENT UPDATE (November 2024 onwards) (Patreon)

Hi guys I just want to let you know for transparency purposes that Patreon notified me regarding NEW PAYMENT UPDATES that will take effect tomorrow November 1, 2024. As you all know and based on my About Page and Tier List Page, Patreon charges Patrons UPFRONT, but now it will be PURELY on a SUBSCRIPTION timeline. To be honest, I think this will be more beneficial and easier to understand most especially to NEW PATRONS since it's now similar to how Spotify, Netflix, or YouTube premium works with their subscriptions. To illustrate this further, here's an example:

Current Setup (UPFRONT):
1. Patron decides to subscribe on October 15.
2. Patron gets to see the content for Oct 15 - Oct 31.
3. Patron will automatically be charged on Nov 1 incase they do not want to cancel the subscription.
4. Patron gets to see the content for Nov 1 - Nov 30.

New Setup (SUBSCRIPTION):
1. Patron decides to subscribe on October 15.
2. Patron gets to see the content for Oct 15 - Nov 15.
3. Patron will automatically be charged on Nov 15 incase they do not want to cancel the subscription.
4. Patron gets to see the content for Nov 15 - Dec 15.

Do note that for current members, you will still be auto-renewed UPFRONT which bills you every start of the month. In case you want to cancel your subscription and decide to re-subscribe again, then it will be under the SUBSCRIPTION method already. if you are still a current member, this new payment method won't affect you. I think it's more for the new patrons moving forward.

As for my pricing, it will still remain the same as 1, 2, 3. :)

Lastly, I HIGHLY SUGGEST to not subscribe through the IOS IN-APP since based on my understanding, there might be slightly higher prices due to a new "tax" implementation that Apple will be doing starting November 1 as well. It's best to subscribe through a WEB BROWSER or any ANDROID device then just login your paid account on the IOS app. For more information about this update, click here.
